We know you have to a lot of information to absorb every day. So why give you one more thing to absorb?

Because it’s rare to get insights from people who face the same challenges you do, and who need to find answers. That’s what this blog series will be about. Real opinions, practical insights, and useful information from people just like you in the LoRaWAN® world.

I’m kicking it off, and I invite you to join me at derek.wallace@lora-alliance.com if you would like to contribute.

For this introductory blog, I’m going to keep it simple. Part of my job is to make sure, you — our members and the LPWAN IoT Community — have what you need to be successful. So here’s my “D3” for today – 3 useful things, from me, Derek (D) Wallace.

1.  Looking at the “business coin” of 2021, one side of it was black and grimy. It sucked. Yep, I said it. No corporate-speak here, just my opinion. However, for LoRaWAN technology, the other side of the coin is gleaming brightly. We had a great year – read all about it LoRa Alliance 2021 End of Year Report. And the best news is that 2022 is already off to a phenomenal start! I’m excited about the expansion of global LoRaWAN adoption in 2022!

2.  Come see me in Paris! We’re bringing the whole industry together in person this year at LoRaWAN® World Expo July 6-7, 2022. Our team is working hard to make sure the event is amazing, enjoyable, successful for our members and safe. Why? Because in-person is the best way to find out not only what you need to know, but who you need to know. If there is one thing that you can do to accelerate the success of your LoRaWAN business in 2022 – attending this event is it. I look forward to seeing you there!

3.  The LoRa Alliance® launched a new Resource Library. Credit to Brady Amiot, with support from others on the LoRa Alliance team, who put so much work into getting our members the information they need in a format they can use. Check it out and let us know what you’d like to add (and don’t forget to look at the translated content; we’ll keep increasing that as well).

Short and sweet. We’re all busy, and we all need insights and resources to move our business forward and to solve critical, quality-of-life issues like ESG, resource conservation, sustainability, and accessibility.

Look forward to more solution sharing to come!
